Turns out Arkansas basketball coach John Pelphrey won’t ride along with the Blue Angels fighter jets near Little Rock on Wednesday as planned. The reason: At 6-foot-7, Pelphrey is too tall.

In a statement released through the university, Pelphrey said, “I’m disappointed, but I’m appreciative of them extending the invitation. … I did ask if they could make the plane bigger, but I’ll have to live with my disappointment. This is the first time in my life I’ve wished I was smaller.”
