The video board at Arkansas is pretty impressive. Let me get that out of the way first.

But we’re sitting here in Starkville right now waiting for the MSU game today and marveling at the size of the new HD video board in Davis Wade Stadium. It is enormous. The board is touted as the second-largest video board in the nation and cost $6.1 million. It almost looks out of place in one of the SEC’s smallest stadiums.

I can’t take my eyes off of it, though. I might be watching the action live on the board instead of on the field. It’s kind of like watching a game on television from my couch.
