On the way up Razorback Road about an hour ago, plenty of Hog fans waved at my car, seeking tickets, two or four fingers in the air. The line at the Bud Walton Arena ticket booth went 60- to 70-deep. Must have been a will call line, because the sign on the ticket office glass reads, "Sold Out".

No official champion will be recognized for the Jim Thorpe Classic. But tonight will serve as the de-facto title contest when Arkansas meets Stephen F. Austin in Bud Walton Arena.
