Arkansas broke out the big lumber Sunday in a 13-3 win against Cal at Baum Stadium. Chase Leavitt led the way with four hits and a career-high five RBIs as the Razorbacks took two of three games on the weekend against the Golden Bears.
While the win was nice, the weekend crowds at Baum Stadium were equally as impressive. A total of 21,429 were on hand to see the three weekend games between Arkansas and Cal. That’s a record for a nonconference series at Baum Stadium, easily breaking the old mark of 16,550 set on March 4-6, 2005 against Illinois-Chicago.
