Arkansas is headed to a Super Regional, and the Razorbacks clinched it in convincing fashion. Frehman left-hander Drew Smyly had a no-hitter broken up after 8 and 1/3 innings on an infield single by Trey Sperring but still went the distance, and the Hogs pounded out 11 runs on 15 hits in blowing out top-seeded Oklahoma.

Drew Smyly's no-no is still alive. Arkansas' freshman left-handed still hasn't allowed a hit here at L. Dale Mitchell Park as the Razorbacks lead Oklahoma 9-0. The Hogs six outs from reaching their first Super Regional since 2004. Zack Cox put Arkansas up by nine with his 2-run homer in the seventh off OU closer Ryan Duke.

OK, so I'm pretty sure I'm about to jinx Arkansas left-hander Drew Smyly right now, but I just realized that I hadn't relayed this important fact: Smyly has a no-hitter going through five innings. The redshirt freshman has cruised through the first five innings, needing only 65 pitches while allowing no hits, striking out six Sooners and facing the minimum number of batters (15).

It's 7-0 now here in Norman. After an uneventful fourth inning all around, Andy Wilkins bashed his second home of the night with one out in the fifth, slicing a Jeremy Ebens pitch directly over the left-field foul pole. Wilkins now has 17 home runs this season. Oklahoma had to bring in its third pitcher of the evening (staff ace Andrew Doyle) after two-out singles by Bo Bigham and Brett Eibner.

Arkansas took advantage of an error by Oklahoma second baseman Matt Harughty and took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Oklahoma right-hander Antwonie Hubbard looked to be very comfortable in his first start since April 22. He struck out Chase Leavitt and Scott Lyons around Harughty's error.
