Just to keep you updated on the situation: Sources have told us that Michael Washington will pull his name out of the NBA Draft pool and is expected to return to the Razorbacks this season.

I spoke with Arkansas associate sports information director Robby Edwards a little while ago and he said the Razorbacks would not confirm Washington’s return today. I’ve called Washington’s cell phone several times, but the forward hasn’t picked up the phone.

Washington declared for the draft last month, but did not hire an agent. Underclassmen that declare for the NBA Draft but decide to return to school must notify the NBA before the withdrawal is complete. I’m not sure if that has happened tonight. But it’s safe to say no considering Arkansas was not ready to confirm that Washington is returning to school.
