Pelphrey Suspends Britt Indefinitely

Arkansas basketball coach John Pelphrey has suspended junior Marcus Britt after his DWI arrest.
Here’s a statement from Pelphrey released by the university:
“Marcus Britt has been indefinitely suspended from all team related activities for a violation of team rules,” Pelphrey said. “He is a representative of the University of Arkansas and our basketball program, and needless to say, we are disappointed. He is still a part of our team, but the expectations of being a Razorback include meeting high standards on the court and off the court.”

Marcus Britt made a very stupid mistake and Coach Pelphrey did his job as coach of the Razorbacks. Hopefully, Marcus is ashamed of what has happened and the embarrassment he has cause for his family, his coaches his teammates and even the fans of Razorbacks. Marcus needs to stay in Coach Pelphrey’s doghouse until he has learn that for every bad decision you make you must face the consequences of your action. If he realize this then just maybe he can have a second chance at being an Arkansas Razorback and show some leadership on and off the court for the returning players as well as the new players coming into the program.
