Turns out, Matt Jones might be a step closer to getting back in the NFL.
The former Arkansas quarterback, whose legal troubles led to him being cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars, has a tryout Thursday with the Tennessee Titans. I was told months ago that the Titans could be a possible fit for Jones, a former first-round draft pick.
According to The Tennessean, “the 6-foot-6 Jones is an intriguing prospect, though he has controversial past.” Here is the newspaper’s story on Jones’ upcoming tryout with the Titans.

Alex,
What is the latest on this. I’m a huge Fan of Matt’s i’ve been following his carrer since he was the QB for Arkansa. We were supose to know if he made the team 3 or four weeks ago and then its like nothing no news. Do you know if its put on hold or not. I find this really strange that no one is talking about him can you please find out if the Titans still looking at matt and what is taking this long.

They need him, but I hope he waits out for Dallas.
